Enhanced positional support - This cushion highlights several built-in positioning features to provide the best support for every user. A coccyx relief cutout dispels spine/tailbone pressure, optimal trochanter support is achieved with specially tapered leg abductors, and optimal postural alignment is promoted through the use of the deep lateral/medial leg contours.

The M2 Zero Elevation Wheelchair Cushion from The Comfort Company provides exceptional pressure relief and comfortable, cushioned seating for users in wheelchairs. Specific design features, including the combination foam and gel pack construction, deep medial and lateral leg contours, and tapered leg abductors, provide enhanced positioning options for a wide range of wheelchair users.

Comfort-Tek cushion cover option provides superior infection and incontinence protection with its smooth and extremely soft polyurethane, combined with a high-stretch polyester backing. The Stretch-Air option is more airy, breathable, and effective at heat dissipation, with a multi-directional fabric stretch that enhances pressure relief.

As an embedded upgrade to the Comfort Companys Stretch-Air and Comfort-Tek fabric options, the cushions enhanced latex-free GlideWear technology further reduces the risk of pressure ulcers and injuries. Highlighting 100% breathability, GlideWear enhances the comfort and durability of both fabric options.

What does Zero Elevation mean?

Answer: It means there is not a large variation in height from the front of the cushion to the back. Some cushions are higher in the front to keep people from sliding off the cushion.

So far this cushion has been great for the price compared to other popular brands . Good positioning , immediately noticed a difference over my old beat up cushion, my backs been feeling alot better since Ive got this one . Only had it 3 weeks so could only rate it a 4 out of 5 as I dont know about its durability and how long it will keep its cushioning . But i can say so far its been great

Its really not that comfy. My husband, a C2 spinal cord injury patient complains that it makes him feel tremendous pressure on his rectum. We will not co tinue to use it

Bought for my father who had an above the knee amputation. He has had no issues with stability and the pad has been very comfortable for him.

Lasted 3yrs just bought Second!!!
When recommended by Gaylord Hospital I doubted the cushion could really relieve my cocsis(sic) pressure problem, but it did. Eventually, it did compress but it did its job.. THATS WHAT COUNTS!!!
