The RCAI Hyperextension Orthosis is used to extend the thoracic spine, limit rotation, and prevent forward flexion. It™s indicated in the treatment of stable lumbar and thoracic vertical compression fractures, to correct and improve flexed posture affiliated with pain, and to reduce kyphosis in individuals with osteoporosis. The innovative design highlights easy adjustments for individualized patient customization. Its heat-moldable Kydex pubic and thoracic areas combined with its simple, single screw height adjustability enable the perfect fit for every patient.

The Hyperextension Orthosis has thoracic and pubic areas made from heat-moldable Kydex for easy custom fitting, and a single height adjustment screw. The foam liner is absorbent, wicking moisture away from the skin and preventing skin breakdown. A flexible ethylene posterior panel with foam liner is supplied for increased stabilization and pain reduction. It is low-profile enough to be worn under clothing.
