The Edge SL TLSO Three Panel (torso lumbosacral orthosis) comes standard with a dorsal lumbar kit (DLK) with a sternal panel. The rigid anterior and posterior polymer shells provide superior stabilization and support, as well as comfort, restricting and controlling unwanted motion while relieving pressure on intervertebral discs. The Edge SL TLSO Three Panel's padding wicks away moisture from the skin to keep a patient dry and comfortable, which is especially helpful to geriatric patients or others at risk of sores or skin breakdown.
For proper sizing, measure around the patient's waist and hips. Sizes X-small through 3X-large are available. The low-profile models are lower in the front, but have the same height in the back.

Chronic back pain
Compression fracture
Degenerative, herniated, or bulging discs
Kyphosis
Laminectomy
Osteoporosis
Paraplegia
Post-operative conditions
Spinal stabilization
Spinal stenosis

Choose from models for either a neutral or pendulous abdomen; a pendulous abdomen hangs over or towards the pubic area due to a weakened or relaxed abdominal wall, while a neutral one does not. It is still possible for a patient with a large stomach or midsection to have a neutral abdomen, as long as it does not hang down.

It was for my wife's birthday, she told me this works perfectly fine. Sometimes it's a little bit uncomfortable when the weather is hot because makes her sweat.

I broke 4 ribs and they couldnt really do anything for me, so I bought this product. As soon as I put it on I was able to take my first real deep breath. It is WAY smaller than the size chart though! If you order it. Order larger than you think you need. It is easy to get on and off once you figure it out, and other than being very hot. It is actually quite comfortable. Id recommend it. Id like to send it back for a bigger size, but not sure how to go about it as there wasnt much instructions or information in the package
