The FreedomFlex Pedal Tilt-In-Space Reclining Wheelchair by Med-Mizer is based on the popular, cost-effective design of the original FlexTilt wheelchair. Since it can be self-propelled, the FreedomFlex wheelchair provides patients more mobility and independence than other chairs. With increased mobility, users can interact with their environment and better maintain connections with other people.
This well-crafted modern chair is ergonomically designed and provides patients with a comfortable and safe mode of self-propelled or caregiver-directed transport. The FreedomFlex's V-Back design keeps the user comfortably and safely supported in the center of the seat. It has built-in handles for ease of use and control. The chair has pressure relief strapping, which contours to the user and decreases the chance of skin issues from pressure sores.
The FreedomFlex Pedal Tilt-In-Space Reclining Wheelchair is equipped with adjustable arms and three different seat widths to accommodate patients of all sizes. The pivot motion of the adjustable arms also facilitates transfers in and out of the chair. This chair has fixed rear steering casters, which make it easier for caregivers and patients to keep the chair straight while moving forward. For additional customization, a standard wheelchair leg rest can be attached to this chair.
