With a total of 6 wheels (two large wheels and four stabilizing wheels) mobility is a breeze. The new pressure redistributing seat cushion is multilayered, featuring healthcare grade foam at varying densities and composition. This helps alleviate issues associated with longer bouts of sitting including heat, moisture, pressure, and shearing forces. The chair adjusts from a seat height of 16" to 21". The chair can be individually fitted to allow one's feet to safely reach the floor for efficient propulsion; this actively encourages increased independent mobility. Contoured seat and back cushions evenly distribute weight for maximum comfort.

How do I change the height of the lateral supports on my chair?

Answer: The height of the lateral support can be changed by loosening the adjustment bolts on the supports and setting them to the desired height and then retightening the bolts.

What does the warranty cover?

Answer: The warranty covers all defects in workmanship. There is a 5-year warranty for metal parts such as the frame, a 3-year warranty for the auto-lock glider mechanism, and 1 year for all other mechanism, gas spring cylinder or mechanical lock, control cable, wheels & casters, tray, and upholstery.

How do I clean my chair?

Answer: Upholstered and metal surfaces must be washed with a mild detergent diluted or dissolved in water. If needed, a mild clear disinfectant can be used for hygenic purposes.
