DolphinCare Fluid Immersion Simulation FIS Integrated Bed System

Integrated with the UltraCare XT bed system, patients are provided with a dignifying look and feel to their in-home care while treating and preventing pressure-related wounds. Additionally, the built-in AdvancedCare control unit enables caregivers to adjust the patient to particular positions for comfort, treatment, or emergency situation, as well as lock the patient's controller.

In accordance with the FDA's entrapment guidelines, this integrated bed and support system comes equipped with a Deluxe Assist Handle (DAH). With its ergonomic and soft touch gripping, this assist device allows for caregivers to adjust its position that will best suit the patient's needs for getting in and out of the bed.

What makes the DolphinCare FIS Integrated Bed System different?
Despite its name, the DolphinCare FIS unit does not require water to operate, reducing the need for a water bladder or tank and extensive maintenance that comes with fluid-operated units. Additionally, this advanced technology ensures that the patient's weight is detected and accommodated, providing ultimate comfort for pressure and wound healing and prevention.

Two automatic features that help with patient transfers are the Auto-Transfer and AutoFirm functions. Auto-Transfer allows the bed system to adjust its height, bringing it to the optimal height for the patient to get out of bed. Used with the Auto-Transfer feature, the AutoFirm component will inflate the system to the ideal firmness, providing stability for patients getting into and out of the bed.

Another pertinent feature for patients and caregivers is its Comfort Chair mode, allowing the patient to be placed into a seated position, reducing the need for a caregiver to transfer them. This important for home care because the support system continues to provide comfort and circulation without the need to be transferred out of bed, reducing the need for additional in-home care tools and maneuvers.
