Comfort Tension Seating
Broda uses a specially designed seating suspension system that comforts the resident while also helping to prevent and heal pressure ulcers. The straps conform to the body while redistributing pressure evenly. This system prevents bottoming out that is common with many Geri chairs. For increased durability, the straps return to their original shape when pressure is removed. The strapping system promotes the flow of air through the chair's interior elements, which remedies heat and moisture build-up that sometimes occurs.

Infinite Adjustability
The Broda Midline Positioning Wheelchair (MID) can be adjusted in a multitude of positions, which allows caregivers to readjust residents often. This advanced adjustability helps keep the resident comfortable and prevents fatigue. The chair tilts up to 38 degrees, and the back reclines up to 90 degrees into a flat position. Caregivers do not need to use restraints as often when the patient is able to be safely positioned so they do not slump out of the chair. The chair can also be placed in a Trendelenburg position, with the legs elevated above the heart to promote blood flow to the heart.

A front pivot seat tilt helps place the patient in the line of vision with others. This positioning capability helps promote socialization and leads to greater resident contentment. The Midline Positioning Wheelchair includes the ability to adjust the seat height as well. With advanced adjustment abilities, the wheelchair can be positioned to accommodate better posture, breathing, feeding, and overall comfort.

The Broda Midline Positioning Wheelchair (MID) provides skeletal support that keeps the body correctly aligned, leading to greater overall comfort. The chair comes standard with a headrest, shoulder bolsters, upper and lower side pad, calf pad, sole pads, seat and back pad with cover. Removable upper lateral keeps the spine aligned and eliminates side slumping. A length-adjustable leg rest elevates independently of the back recline function, while a single flip-down footrest with footplate supports the feet.

Easy Maneuverability
The Broda Midline maneuvers easily in tight spaces with total lock casters and a directional back caster. Your choice of front or back Mag wheels can be added, allowing the resident to propel themselves.
