Adapt 2 Modular Mattress with ROHO, GelFlex, and High Resiliency Foam

Delivering an innovative, customizable solution to reduce the negative effects of pressure, shear, and friction within the body of the mattress, the Adapt 2 Modular Mattress with ROHO, GelFlex, and High Resiliency Foam is designed with removable, interchangeable inserts to meet individual user needs. Available in two different system base sizes, System 1 measures 36-inches wide and System 2 measures 39-inches wide. Both systems are 80-inches long and 6-inches high. The bolstered edges along the sides of the mattress include accordion cuts to provide a helpful transfer grip. Additionally, the foot and head sections are fixed in place to ensure the mattress components reset themselves to minimize movement.

Enabling 360-degree user movement and the reduction of shear in all directions, the Adapt 2 modular mattress systems utilize proprietary and award-winning Shear Reduction Technology (SRT) for unrivaled friction, shear, and pressure control. Validated for its efficacy in independent, unbiased third-party clinical trials with populations vulnerable to skin breakdown, SRT mitigates the shear forces usually incurred by moving around in bed or when changing the bed frames position, for hospital and adjustable beds. It separates two layers of alternative foam with a low friction material for efficacious absorption and dissipation of the shear and pressure forces that can damage the skin.

Being able to customize the mattress sections with foam, gel, and air cell inserts to modify its use for every individuals specific needs ensures the best solution for users at medium to high risk for pressure injury development and skin breakdown. The GelFlex and HR Foam inserts are also flippable to promote longevity and ease of use. These mattress systems also include a fire barrier on the base and on the inserts, increasing the fire retardancy to meet California Technical Bulletin standard #129 to promote safer use. Having no snaps makes the mattress easier to use while it also inhibits bacterial growth along the inner lining, resulting in a cleaner surface area.
