Product Overview:

The Protekt Aire 9900 uses true low air loss and alternating pressure therapy to prevent moisture, heat, and pressure buildup, common causes of pressure ulcers. The anti decubitus matress system air pump and the air-permeable pressure relief mattress cover allow high volumes of air to circulate over the mattress surface and around the patient's skin, keeping them cool and completely dry. Alternating air bladders in the Protekt Aire 9900 inflate to redistribute pressure to different parts of the patient's body, relieving common pressure points such as the shoulder blades, hips, buttocks, and heels.

More Information

The Protekt Aire 9900 combines dual therapies of alternating pressure and low air loss in one quiet but powerful system. The dual layers of air cells provide a supportive surface for the patient to rest on if the first layer deflates in the case of a power failure. The mattress cover is water-resistant with a quilted top for extra comfort and moisture resistance. The weight capacity of the mattress is 1,000 lbs, providing full support for any patient. The control is a user-friendly LED display which lets the caregiver or patient easily adjust the settings for comfort adjustment.

The air pump blower produces 1275 liters for a highly effective low air loss function. The pressure settings can be adjusted by 8 levels to meet the specific needs of the patient. The alternating pressure cycle time can be adjusted from 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30minutes to for a customized pressure redistribution and skin surface interface. A lockout feature can be enabled if needed, to allow only authorized caregivers to change the settings. The static function inflates the mattress completely to provide a firm surface for easier transfer in and out of bed. If the pressure in the mattress falls too low, it triggers an audible and visible alarm that will quickly alert caregivers. Cell-on-cell mattress design prevents patient from bottoming out in case of power failure.
