What Customers Are Saying:

"I am a 50-year-old, overweight male, with no hip so I require mobility assistance when I am away from the house. FAQ For Atlantis Heavy-Duty Bariatric Power Wheelchair by Merits

? Have a question about this product? Click here to ask us!
All the LEDs are slowly flashing on my controller, what do I do?
Answer: This indicates that the Shark has detected an Out of Neutral at Power Up condition. To relieve this, just release the joystick back into it's neutral position.
How do I adjust the footplate on this Atlantis Bariatric Power Wheelchair?
Answer: To adjust the height of the footplate, use a 10mm hex wrench, remove the bolts and nuts. Slide the platform to your desired height and then replace the bolts and nuts and tighten them.

To adjust the angle of the footplate, flip up the footplate for easy access and loosen the nut. Then use an Allen key to turn the bolt counter-clockwise to increase the angle or clockwise to decrease it.
Is there any way for me to freely push the wheelchair without having it on?
Answer: Yes, the wheelchair may be pushed by manually releasing the brake levers that are attached to each motor. These levers are located to the rear of the vehicle, just behind the rear cover at the center bottom of the cover. The normal drive position is UP so these levers must be moved down. Once they are released the wheelchair can then be pushed. It is important to have the controller power set to OFF when pushing the vehicle or it will try to resist the pushing.
