Designed for smooth and comfortable rides, the Gemini Power Wheelchair with Elevating Captain Seat from Merits is constructed with a unique suspension system and a high-density foam seat. Equipped with a seat elevator, this chair also has swivel and folding capabilities for maximized accommodation. The head and backrest are both adjustable to accommodate different positions and heights. For maneuverability, the wheels are 14" aluminum cast and the seat comes with a sophisticated controller. The brakes are regenerative and electromagnetic, making them intelligent for the utmost safety. This chair provides various comfort positions through the use of an aluminum footplate with flip-up, adjustable angle and height. Optional accessories include a swing-away joystick, elevating legrests, oxygen tank holder, power seat lift, cane and crutch holder, rear foldable basket, walker holder, and a canopy.

My Gemini Power Wheelchair is acting slower and more sluggish than before, but it is fully charged. What can I do to solve this problem?

Answer: If the battery condition is good, check the maximum speed setting. If adjusting the speed setting does not remedy the problem then this may be a sign of a non-hazardous failt. Please contact us for more assistance.

What is the mounting bracket on the wheelchair?

Answer: This mounting bracket is for an umbrella.

My mother's Gemini is flashing 7 times and is not working so I think there is a problem but I am not sure how to fix it, please help!

Answer: First, check the SHARK Communications Bus connections and wiring. If nothing is out of the ordinary here you will most likely have to replace the control unit.

Do these wheelchairs require assembly?

Answer: After the boxes arrive, the seat will need to be placed on the base. Then the armrests and joystick will need to be attached. Batteries will need to be connected at the end as needed.

My battery arrived first when will I get my wheelchair??

Answer: These units typically arrive in 1 or 2 boxes. The wheelchair should arrive shortly after the battery. Please contact Rehabmart Customer Service for tracking information.

How high does the seat go up?

Answer: Short Answer, from 24.5-inches to 34.5-inches. In the lowest position from the ground at approximately 24.5-inches, the seat can raise up to 10-inches. This elevated lift will bring you closer to tables, bars, checkout counters, and grocery store shelves.
