The Foam Mattress for Bariatric Care is supportive, comfortable, and durable making it a perfect option to prevent bedridden ailments. It is made of a firm, high-density foam base that provides a supportive foundation and topped with a soft foam layer that brings comfort to the support. Additionally, there is even softer foam towards the tapered heel section that relieves pressure for patients who may have sensitive heels and ankles. The foam is encapsulated in a soft, yet durable zipper cover that can be easily removed for cleaning.

The outside of the top cover is breathable and reduces shearing. The top of the cover is made of nylon that is bacteria resistant, flame retardant, fluid resistant, anti-fungal, anti-static, non-allergenic, and has nearly no vapor transmission. The bottom of the outer cover is made of a durable vinyl material that is also resistant to bacteria, fire, fluid, static, allergens, and stains. The bed is designed to meet both the 16 CFR 1633 and HCPCS code: E1399 requirements. When evenly distributed, the mattress can support up to 600 pounds.
