The high-density foam offers maximum comfort and support, and the heel section of the mattress uses aerated Lura-Quilt foam for improved air circulation. The Protekt 600 Bariatric Pressure Redistribution Foam Mattress cover is made of a stretchy nylon that is water-resistant and anti-bacterial for better hygiene, which helps prevent formation and infection of pressure ulcers.

Protekt 600 Bariatric Pressure Redistribution Foam Mattress is constructed to provide optimal pressure redistribution and support for the high-risk bariatric patient. The mattress was designed to utilize a combination of the highest density foams to create the quintessential sleeping surface for the heavier patient.

The top layer of high resilient high-density die-cut foam provides optimal support and comfort. The heel section is made of Lura-Quilt foam. Lura-Quilt is an aerated foam which allows air to continuously pass through, keeping the patient cool and dry. The bottom layer of foam is constructed of ultra high density, resilient foam which provides unprecedented patient support and stability.

The top of the cover is a four-way stretch nylon material with a low moisture vapor transmission rate. The water-resistant and anti-microbial/bacterial cover provides infection control. An anti-contamination flap covers the zipper, reducing the possibility of fluids contaminating the foam core.

The Protekt 600 Bariatric Pressure Redistribution Foam Mattress's weight capacity is 1000 lbs and meets federal regulations. The pressure relief mattress includes a one-year non-prorated warranty.
