This mattress overlay is intended for use on top of a standard mattress. The ROHO Dry Floatation Mattress Overlay relieves pressure on the body to help heal advanced stage ischemic ulcers. Despite its simple design, the ROHO Mattress Overlay has a wide range of therapeutic applications. It can be used to relieve tissue deformation, edema, vasoconstriction, dehydration, and shearing. This mattress overlay is made of rows of soft, interconnected, air-filled cells and conforms to the contours of the body to provide "passive compression therapy". This increases blood flow to wound sites to aid the healing process.
The ROHO Dry Floatation Mattress Overlay is non-powered with no electrical connection, which makes it safer and more cost-effective. The 3.5" high cells easily conform to the shape of the patient's body regardless of weight. The overlay is divided into four sections which can be adjusted to address specific needs due to body size or shape. Each section measures 20" x 34" (51cm x 86cm). Drainage holes dispose of fluid to keep patients dry and comfortable. The neoprene material is flame resistant and easy to clean. The ROHO Mattress Overlay is repairable to extend its life and has no weight limit. Reusable covers are available.
ROHO Dry Floatation Mattress Overlay Features:
- With 720 air cells, this mattress overlay allows for greater conformity and better pressure distribution. Each cell is specially treated to minimize friction and resulting shear.
- The four sections of the mattress overlay are independently adjusted, providing a low-pressure environment over the entire contact area of the body.
