This package includes a Strongback wheelchair, removable leather seat, and a seat belt.

The primary difference between the chairs is the diameter of the rear wheels. The rear wheel sizes available are 12-inch or 24-inch diameter. The 12-inch wheels are the best for outdoor use where there may be rougher terrain. The 24-inch wheels allow the user to self-propel.

The other option you must select is your seat's width. Choose from either a 16-inch or 18-inch wide seat. The length of either size is 18 inches long.

On the rear side of the backrest are velcro straps. These straps allow you to adjust the backrest based on your individual needs for maximum comfort. The velcro straps can make the backrest tighter, looser, higher, or lower. You can easily adjust the backrest by yourself and do not need to visit an expert to do this. This adjustability reduces your need to purchase any bulky cushions or clumsy accessories.

All variations of the Strongback Lightweight Wheelchair include rear locking brakes, padded armrests, push handlebars, adjustable velcro backrest, and swing-away detachable footrests.

The 12-inch wheels are a bit heavy, resulting in a slightly larger folded size, and are the best for outdoor use where there may be rougher terrain. The 24-inch wheels allow the user to self-propel.

What size seat should I buy?

Answer: The smaller seat measures 16 inches across while the larger measures 18 inches across. Obviously a larger person will need the larger seat. The smaller seat width, however, makes a smaller overall chair, which maneuvers more easily in narrow places such as a restaurant or around furniture in your apartment at home, so you may want to choose the smallest size that still works comfortably for you.

How do you fold the chair?

Answer: First, fold down the back and then pull up on the center front and back of the seat fabric.
