K-1oem ALT-AIRE Alternating Pressure System is easily used and controlled. To use the control unit, simply plug it in. It pumps out air with a single, high airflow at 42 - 52 LPM. The software used with the control unit can be used with ease. Display mode features current mode, A/P times, and patient comfort pressure level (Soft 0 to Firm 9). The panel features domed keys and LED display. Has a built-in, lock out key to eliminate the patient's ability to tamper with the settings. The internal memory keeps current settings, which is handy in the case of a power outage or accidental disconnect. The control unit is easily moved and transported due to its lightweight.
The surface of the K-1oem ALT-AIRE Alternating Pressure System is designed with high-quality, durable, urethane-coated, nylon cushions. They are low-friction and low-shear to provide patient with the utmost comfort and reduce irritation. The air cells within the systems are connected to the manifold with quick connectors and are fastened to the base, for easy, quick inflation or deflation. This design also features the ability to quickly inflate or deflate for emergency CPR procedures.
The Overlay Mattress System should be placed on an existing 3-5inch foam mattress. The built-in elastic straps of the overlay system should be secured around the foam mattress.
The Raised Side Bolster System should be used with patients who have a tendency to roll or move. This design helps contain the patient on the mattress. The bolsters can be easily deflated if a patient needs to get in and out of bed or if a procedure needs to be performed.

When the system needs to be stored or transported, that can be easily done via the shoulder or hand straps. The mattress is light weight and simply rolls up. All components of the mattress system can be easily detached and cleaned.
