The Stainless Steel ADA Folding Dressing Bench, which supports up to 500 pounds, can lower and raise to make room for dressing and undressing in public restrooms and dressing rooms located in places such as gyms, swimming, recreational park, and shopping facilities. Available in adult models, the Dressing Bench folds flush with the wall when not in use. The Dressing Bench comes with your choice of either a phenolic or padded Naugahyde surface, which is seam-sealed to keep out moisture and bacteria.
This product is non-returnable.

How the Stainless Steel ADA Folding Dressing Bench Operates
A stainless steel cross member automatically holds the dressing bench in a raised position by a stainless steel cross member that is attached to the front and rear support legs. When in the up position, the table automatically locks. The swing-down leg automatically aligns the front and rear support legs with a stainless steel cross member when the seat is lowered. When not in use, the dressing bench folds up and out of the way, giving extra room for occupants.

Installing the Stainless Steel ADA Folding Dressing Bench
The Dressing Bench should be installed using suitable fasteners and sufficient in-wall backing materials. This dressing bench is mounted with mounting flanges. To ensure ADA compliance, the bench should be mounted between 17 to 19 inches in height.

Top Choices
Choose from a phenolic or padded Naugahyde top. The top is seam-sealed to prevent penetration of bacteria and moisture.

Meets ADA Requirements
  • ADA 4.26.3 for Structural Strength: With the ability to support up to 500 lbs., the Dressing Bench exceeds the ADA's required weight capacity of 250 lbs.
  • ADA 4.21.3 for Seat Design. The Dressing Bench must be properly installed to meet this requirement.
