Product Overview:

The Universal Thumb Support limits radial and palmar abduction of the CMC joint and flexion and extension of the MCP joint. Each support is made from black stretch neoprene, with a bendable metal stay, and is low-profile. The RCAI Universal Wrist Thumb Support is low profile and made of a stretch neoprene with a bendable metal stay that limits radial and palmar abduction of the CMC joint flexion and extension of the MCP joint.

The UWTS gently places the thumb in position of function, is easy to fit, and allows performance of routine tasks in comfort while limiting the extreme motion of the joints of the thumb. It places the wrist in a neutral position and abducts the thumb. The Universal Thumb Support is non-returnable if plastic has been opened.

Does this buckle guard fit all child carseats..we have a ...Infa Secure evolve caprice.We have a child that has Autism and he is very clever,he knows how to unbuckle him self need things that work,have tryed the humpty dumpty there hopeless need peace of mind,hope yours will stophim in his tracks,driving us crazey.

Answer: This product is compatible with most standard child safety seats (i.e. any major car seat manufacturer you could purchase through Walmart or Babies r Us). They will not work on specialty car seats.

Does this product limit use of the thumb at its base where it joins the hand, and does it allow movement of the wrist? Also, is it possible to send me a photo of what the brace looks like on the palm side?

Answer: This product allows for everyday tasks so no it does not limit the thumb movement completely, but it does limit excessive movements for the wrist and thumb joint. This support allows performance of daily routine tasks. And unfortunately we do not have a picture of the palm side facing up. I will recommend that to the manufacturer.

Helps so much, just wish it came in colors, the black blends in and I can't find it , especially in the car when I need it the most

Be Careful
I assumed the metal stay would be on the underside of the thumb. It is not. It is on the outside of the thumb. I wasted my money.
