Splint came in plastic wrap with a label affixed stating a physicians prescription was needed to purchase this splint. I did not have a prescription and it was not stated in the ordering process, leaving me to wonder how RehabMart comes by products it sells that require a presciption, the driving force behind my 2 star rating. As for the splint itself, its well made - Id give that 4 stars, but after several tries with hours of immobilizing my thumb, when I took it off, my thumb joint was very stiff and getting movement back was more painful than the joint pain itself. Ive shelved the splint for now but will keep it in reserve.
