The Universal Thumb Spica Brace Splint is a one-size-fits-most orthopedic device designed to help control the painful condition of De Quervain's tenosynovitis and rheumatoid arthritis by immobilizing the MP and CMC joints of the thumb.
The very durable, four-way stretch HyPUR-cel neoprene material is resistant to wear and tear from frequent use, and will conform to the user's wrist and thumb for a perfect and comfortable fit. The neoprene is treated with an antimicrobial agent to inhibit the growth of odor-causing germs and bacteria, resulting in a more hygienic environment.
The brace has a non-removable, malleable aluminum thumb stay that can be customized to a desired and protective abduction position. An elastic thumb wrap and wrist straps provide a customized fit and a safe and comfortable wrist and thumb compression to assist in the healing process. Hook and loop closure systems will assure an easy application, adjustments, and removal of the splint.
The 8.25-inch, latex-free, universal size splint will fit either the right or left hand, and is not returnable.
