Thermo-Form Heat-Retaining Thumb Support

The Thermo-Form Heat-Retaining Thumb Support is designed to provide firm but comfortable support for the thumb and wrist with the soothing power of heat. This orthosis is made with a Neo-Tex soft polyester blend fabric that has been infused with heat-retention properties to keep heat close to your sore joints and tendons, soothing them and easing your pain. It is held in place with a convenient hook and loop closure that makes application and removal easy, while also holding it firmly in place during wear.

This orthosis includes a thermoplastic insert that slides easily in and out of the inner pocket to support the thumb. This insert provides custom-molded support for each user by simply softening it in hot water and then molding it to the hand. For further accommodation to each user, this splint is available in three lengths and multiple sizes ranging from X-Small to X-Large. To size, simply measure your wrist cirfumerence on the affected hand and match that with the sizing specifications.

Each length is ideal for different levels of support. Use the short and mid lengths for more localized conditions like thumb CMC and MP arthritis, ligament injuries, MP fusion, tendinitis, and joint fractures. While the Long length is ideal for conditions that affect a larger area, such as de Quervains, tenosynovitis, arthritis, wrist and thumb tendonitis, joint fractures, and CMC joint arthroplasty.
