The internal foam layer sits below the air cells to provide a stable cushion base that prevents the cushion from bottoming out to ensure comfortable support and ideal positioning. The foam layer is contoured to cradle the users body, supporting the leg troughs, buttocks, and coccyx for optimal positioning. Firm foam helps to ease transfers on and off of the cushion and provides a second layer of skin protection for the user even if the air cells lose pressure.
Individual air cells provide adjustable pressure relief and comfort to ease discomfort and reduce the formation of pressure ulcers. Air cells are durable and long-lasting, crafted with high-quality, flame-resistant, latex-free neoprene rubber that supports users of any weight with ease. Individual cell design helps promote airflow and comfort to keep users cool, dry, and comfortable while they sit.
Each cushion includes a durable cover and is available in a range of sizes and thicknesses to accommodate a variety of chair sizes and user needs.
