The Balanced Aire Adjustable Cushion is covered with a low-shear waterproof stretch nylon cover that is easily removed for cleaning. The adjustable locking straps secure to the chair, and non-skid bottom prevents sliding forward. The flexible interconnected air cells are what allow the user the deep immersion around bony prominences into the Balanced Aire wheelchair cushion for maximum comfort. Cells shift and shape to the seat area to provide a low friction surface, that is easily adjusted by increasing or decreasing the level of air with included hand pump.
