The Breathable Resting Hand Orthosis Brace is designed to rest and support the user's wrist and hand in a correct position overnight or while resting to help reduce pain, swelling, and morning joint stiffness.
Functioning as a wearable, mechanical medical brace while the user is sleeping or during the day when resting, the lightweight orthosis is made with durable Kydex thermoplastic that can be heated and molded to provide a custom fit. Included is a soft and comfortable liner that is also removable and washable to help provide protection against pressure point pain. The liner will also wick away moisture from the user's skin to keep the skin from breaking down or receiving skin tears.
The latex-free orthosis can support individuals while sleeping or when the hands are in a non-active position during the day, helping to relieve rheumatoid arthritis, wrist drop and finger flexor tightness, along with post-surgery and injury positioning, burns, and arthroplasties.
This resting hand version does not have finger separators.
