Pediatric Hip Abduction Splints are made of a sturdy polypropylene frame with closed-cell foam lining that remains clean and dry. Available in standard or adjustable styles for intants from three to eighteen months. The open design facilitates diaper changes. The standard model holds the infant in 90 degrees hip flexion and 60 degrees abduction. Adjustable model adjusts abduction from 40 degrees to 180 degrees. All products have a lead time of approximately ten business days, are non-returnable, and prescription required.

Pediatric Hip Abduction Splints maintains concentric reduction of hips in patients with hip dysplasia. Replaces spica casts and harnesses for certain neuromuscular and developmental dysplasia patients. One piece, polypropylene orthosis holds infant in 90 degree hip flexion and 60 degree abduction, adjustable model offers easily adjustable abduction from 40 degrees through 180 degrees by aluminum slotted screw assembly. Fits infants from six to twelve pounds / 3 months to 30 pounds/ 18 months. Indicated for infants and young children with subluxed hips or to prevent subluxation and dislocation.
