The shells of the The Progress Plus Pronation/Supination Turnbuckle Orthosis are made of Kydex® thermoplastic for extreme durability and force distribution. They can be slightly adjusted by heating with a heat gun. This orthosis is best used post-surgery to limit or prevent forearm rotation for healing, or for serial splinting to help improve range of motion.
The removable liner is made of neoprene and comes included with the elbow unit. The hook and loop straps make fitting easy and secure. Neoprene pads go under the straps to provide comfort and support. The Progress Plus Pronation/Supination Turnbuckle Orthosis closes on the anterior side to make it easier to put on without help.
The elbow unit keeps the elbow at 60 degrees flexion. The hand unit has a molded palmar arch for comfort and allows for limited wrist motion.
This orthosis can be cleaned with soap and water. For sizing of the elbow unit, measure bicep circumference. For sizing of the hand unit, measure hand width at the knuckles.
