DeRoyal designed the device to be lightweight, as well as incorporate a low-profile design. Adjustable cuffs are included for a custom fit. The foam interior liner is used to create a soft barrier between your skin and the splint. More Information

Static-Pro Elbow Static Progressive Orthosis is designed specifically to treat conditions such as joint stiffness, ROM limitations, and established soft tissue contractures. These conditions are most commonly results of trauma, neurological disorders, and immobilization. The simplistic design allows you to achieve flexion and extension by only the turning of a knob. Flexion of the elbow is possible by your lower arm being pulled toward your upper arm. Extension is the opposite of flexion and involves the unbending of the arm. Your physician should be able to educate you on the proper protocol for use.

The device uniquely offers you the ability to combine static stretching along with stress relief and relaxation. This permits the splints ability to stretch your contracted tissue. DeRoyal created the splint to be lightweight and low-profile in design. It also includes an adjustable cuff that provides you with a custom fit. The foam liner placed along the interior creates both a soft and absorbent layer between your skin and the splint. Replacement liners are available and are sold separately.

DeRoyal strongly suggests that this particular product only be used under the direct supervision of a qualified healthcare professional. They also recommended that this particular elbow splint not be used to treat conditions such as; thrombophlebitis, severe spasticity, and/or severe osteoporosis. In the case that when using the device symptoms such as pain, swelling, numbness, or skin irritation occur you are suggested to stop using the device immediately.
