More Information

The Thumb Support - Neonatal Thumb Splints by McKie Splints is an innovative product engineered to provide assistance with thumb positioning and overall hand control for young users. The design incorporates a strategic open space between the support and the palm, a feature that significantly enhances the user's ability to move their hand freely and interact with objects during various activities.

Comfort and safety are paramount in the product's construction. The interior is made of smooth nylon, creating a gentle interface with the skin to prevent irritation during extended wear. Notably, the support is latex-free, catering to those with sensitivities or allergies. Despite its robust supportive capabilities, the accessory maintains an ultra-thin profile at just 1.5mm thickness. This slender design allows for natural movement of the hands and fingers while still providing the necessary support around the thumb.

The exterior of the support features a looped nylon construction, offering versatility in its application. This design allows for pairing with optional hook tape, providing users with the flexibility to add extra support where needed. This adaptability makes the product suitable for a range of individual needs and preferences. Practicality is another key aspect of this thumb support. The nylon-covered neoprene material used in both the interior and exterior makes the product reusable and easy to maintain. Users can simply wash and dry the support between uses, ensuring it's ready for the next application.
