Each Pediatric Mini-TLC Hip Abduction Brace is made from prefabricated MPE, with an adjustable pelvic band that can be adjusted for hip development and changes in pelvic circumference. Each thigh cuff has a bivalve design which lets it be adjusted to fit the proximal and distal measurements of the wearer's thighs. The liner of the TLC Hip Abduction brace is velvet plus PU foam.

The Pediatric Mini-TLC Hip Abduction Brace is typically indicated for the following conditions:
- Arthoplasty
- Hip dislocation, or potential high risk dislocation
- Hip dysplasia (anterior or posterior)
- Hip management/immobilization
- Hip revisions
- Hip surgery
- Post-operative use
- Pre-operative use
- Stabilization, alignment, and reinforcement of the hips
