Pediatric Feeding Evaluation Kit

The Pediatric Feeding Evaluation Kit is specifically designed to provide pediatrics and youths, typically with disabilities or those with low dexterity individualized, selected utensils and adaptive eating equipment.

The goal is to provide the child the opportunity to gain self-insurance and confidence to develop self-esteem that is associated with increased independence, increase safety during meals, increase self-care, and to help make mealtime simpler for the caregiver or parent as well as the child.

Included within the 18 piece evaluation kit are BPA-free, phthalate-free, and latex-free adapted plates, bowls, plate guards, cups, dinner flatware, and utensils all packaged in an attractive attache carrying case.

The kit contains a 4-1/2" diameter Scooper Bowl, an off-white plate with an inside edge, an 8-ounce ergonomic noses cup, a red plastic food guard for 9 1/2"-10" plates, an 8-ounce 2-handle independence mug, an 9 1/4" long sure-grip knife, an 8 1/2" long economy coated built-up handle fork, an economy coated built-up handled teaspoon, an adjustable weighted spork, an adjustable weighted plastisol coated teaspoon, a teaspoon, a child's feeding spoon, a pediatric utensil holder, assorted foam tubing for handles (w of each), a blue dycem roll matting, a 16" wide by 32" long white disposable adult food catcher in a 50 count package of 50, and a laryngeal mirror.
