The Deluxe Easy-Hold Kitchen Utensils for Limited Hand Dexterity are designed to assist individuals with decreased upper extremity control and weakened grasping strength.
Each individual adaptive eating utensil has a 4 1/2-inch long and 3/4-inch wide polypropylene handle and non-rusting stainless steel cutlery that makes the overall length of the utensil 8-inches. The phthalates-, latex-, and BPA-free utensils are dishwasher safe up to 180-degrees Fahrenheit, and are very durable for repeated use.
The individual utensils include an easy-hold fork and a knife that will cut in both a slicing and rocking motion, making it easier to manage for the user during mealtime.
An angled offset spoon and spork are available to provide an easier and more positive eating experience for individuals with decreased upper extremity control or range of motion. The offset spoon and spork come in either a left or right-handed version, along with an option of a Plastisol coating for people with temperature-sensitive lips or teeth.
The adaptive flatware is ideal for hospital and care facilities, elderly care homes, and for personal use at home.
