The Homecraft Kings Grip Assessment Kit is ideal for a clinician using it to help determine what type of eating utensil that will best suit his client to eat independently.
The kit contains 32 pieces of various eating utensils with a number of different style spoons, fork, and knife heads that can best be used by the client, as well as a number of different style handles that will best fit the client's hand that will allow him the ability to best feed himself.
The items are all BPA and Phthalates free, have non-corroding surfaces, and are dishwasher safe.
Adaptive dinnerware and utensil can assist individuals with physical disabilities, grasping difficulties, poor fine motor skills, arthritis, or tremors to be able to feed himself and using this kit allows the clinician to find the optimal eating utensil for the client that will allow him to improve his eating experience.
The utensils are easy to assemble by simply pushing the utensil's head spigot into the hole of the chosen handle. If the handle needs to be built-up to provide for a more firm grip, simply add sleeves to the handle until the proper thickness is achieved.
The kit comes with a carrying case with a foam rubber interior that has specific cut-outs for each utensil piece.
