Product Overview:

Good Grips Coated Spoons are adapted eating utensils that assist with self-feeding. Those with Arthritis, physical disabilities, poor fine motor skills, grasping difficulties, and Parkinson's are better able to feed themselves using the adapted dining aids. Large, non-slip handles can be bent to accommodate eating habits. Protective coating on the spoon itself reduces the likelihood of injuring the mouth because of biting reflexes or limited coordination. Choose from a small spoon, teaspoon, tablespoon, or sample kit, which includes one of each spoon model.

More Information

Good Grips Coated Spoons work well for people with limited coordination and mild biting reflexes, where biting action is triggered by stimulation of the oral cavity. Made with a plastisol coating, the adapted cutlery protects the teeth and lips from injury. Built-up, non-slip and bendable handles are ideal for those with spasticity, limited hand-to-mouth reach, and impaired hand control. Special needs utensil straps, such as Goodie Straps, make a perfect companion to Good Grips Coated Spoons.
