More Information

The Ortho-Biotic II Clinical Recliner is purposed to enhance the quality of life of both patients and their caregivers. The recliner has a wide variety of healthcare applications such as furnishing patients rooms, same day surgery, post-anesthesia, oncology, IV therapy, dialysis, and patient transport to name a few. With its range of uses, the Ortho-Biotic II is ideal for hospitals, clinics, and even rehabilitation centers. It truly makes the care, treatment, and recovery of patients more convenient for caregivers in a range of healthcare settings. Take all of that functionality and wrap it in a beautiful comfortable package and you get the Lumex Ortho-Biotic II Clinical Recliner.

Taking advantage of a unitized recliner mechanic, the Ortho-Biotic II is able to adjust the legrest and back independently. The legrest recline lever can be found on the outside of the recliner on the side. The lever placement allows both the patient and caregiver to operate the legrest angle. Additionally, there is a Trendelenburg Pedal on the right side of the chair that activates the Trendelenburg position right away. Underneath the chair is a pull-out foot plate designed for comfort and extra safety during transport. The plate can easily be pulled out when it needs to be used and slid back underneath the chair when it is not needed. The seat and back portions of the recliner are filled with composite foam and topped with a 1 layer of visco-elastic foam for additional comfort. For mobility, the Ortho-Biotic has four Tente swivel casters that have been specifically designed for use in healthcare settings. Three of the casters have the ability to lock to keep the chair secure while being used stationery. There is also a directional lock caster that improves the tracking during patient transport.

The Ortho-Biotic II Clinical Recliner is available with both Wood cap arms and fully upholstered arms. The recliner is proudly made in the USA.
