Both the Trapeze Bar for Hospital Bed and the optional base are constructed of heavy-duty chrome-plated steel tubing. Not rated for bariatric patients.

The Triangle Hand Assembly comes with wall bumpers and mounting brackets with pads that protect the walls and surfaces in your bedroom. This padded number feature prevents bumps, dents, and scratches on your wall or bedframe while using the Offset Fixed Trapeze. It is easy to assemble without tools for your benefit.

Good morning , is this Trapez self standing?
Answer: The Trapeze and triangle alone are not freestanding. If you order the base, which is sold separately, then yes, it can become freestanding and be used with a regular bed
What are the dimensions of the base?
Answer: The base for the offset fixed trapeze measures 35.5" high x 40" deep (front to back) x 31" wide (side to side).
Is the trapeze able to adjust forward/backward and also lower to bed?
Answer: The trapeze bar can be moved side to side only. This trapeze bar can be attached to a free standing base that would allow moving and lowering.
