More Information

The Bariatric Bed Trapeze with Free Standing Base - 450 lb and 600 lb Capacity Options - Lumex by Graham Field helps patients safely change position in bed and transfer to other equipment with minimal assistance. This trapeze is made with a wide, low-lying base that can easily fit under most pieces of furniture, and with rubber bumper guards to protect surfaces it may brace against. The trapeze uses a chain to suspend the adjustable handbar, and gives users the ability to pull themselves into sitting positions, aid them in moving around the bed, or assist them in moving to a nearby piece of furniture or equipment.

The trapeze meets requirements for HCPCS code E0912, meaning it is approved for use in its medical category by an association of healthcare professionals. Easy to set-up and install, all that is needed is a 9/16" (or 14mm) wrench for assembly. The Bariatric Bed Trapeze with Free Standing Base - 450 lb and 600 lb Capacity Options - Lumex by Graham Field is available in models supporting either a 450 lb. or 600 lb. capacity. This device provides significantly easier transfers for a lone individual, or allows a patient to partially lift with minimal aid from a caregiver.

Whether to make a caregiver's job easier, or to provide patients greater freedom of movement, the Lumex Bariatric Trapeze can be a fantastic addition to the home or clinic setting.

This device works great !!

My husband loves it, and uses it to turn over and get out of bed. If there were a way to remove the unused chains, that would keep it more quiet at night. Also, if there were a way to install a longer bar, my husband could do pull-downs as well as chin-ups. just a thought.
