The unique, curved design of this lift provides the patient with a more spacious and comfortable position. The Molift Nomad Portable Ceiling Lift is equipped with many safety features including emergency stop, emergency lowering, and electronic overload protection.

The lift itself is only 15-pounds, but it has a strong lift capacity. There are a few models of the Molift Nomad Portable Ceiling Lift to choose from; the lifting capacity varies between the models. It is possible for the Molift Nomad Portable Ceiling Lift to climb between two rail systems that are not connected; this usually occurs between doorways. In order to do this, you need a Climbing Trolley. There must be a trolley with a climbing belt present on both rail systems. Watch the video below titled Use Room To Room Function to see this in action. Reacher bars are sold separately and one must be purchased for this type of transfer.

The Molift Nomad Portable Ceiling Lift can be easily disconnected and reconnected by a single caregiver. The Nomad Transport Cart is ideal when the ceiling lift is not in use, or it is being manually transported. The Nomad Cart can safely hold the ceiling lift, reacher arm, and a sling. The Molift Nomad Portable Ceiling Lift has built-in carry handles that make manual transport of the device easy.
