Product Overview:

Handicare's C-450 Manual Traverse Fixed Ceiling Lift is the smallest lift in its class, yet still capable of seamlessly lifting up to 450-pounds. Its 2-button hand control provides vertical movements; it can raise and lower patients. It's not capable of horizontal movements, so a caregiver is required to manually push patients side to side. It's available in 4 styles: standard, for use with omni charge, for use with power turntable track, and for use with quick curve track. This ceiling lift is a safe alternative to manually lifting and transferring patients. Additionally, it can be used for turning, repositioning, supporting, and elevating patients in various forms.

More Information

The C-450 Manual Traverse Fixed Ceiling Lift from Handicare is a reliable lift that consistently provides safety and comfort during patient lifts and transfers. It operates silently, so it doesn't disturb others. The lifts are smooth and completely free of jerky movements. The lifting strap can extend to 8-feet, which allows you to reach patients that are on the floor (depending on your ceiling height). This lift conveniently operates by using the on-board control or the hand control. The hand control is pneumatic and waterproof, so it can also be used during bath transfers. The lift's digital display is easy-to-read and shows its lift status and battery level. When the battery is low, a visual battery level will display and auditory beeps will alert you.

The C-450 Manual Traverse Ceiling Lift features several safety features to ensure each lift is trouble-free. The safety features include emergency start/stop, emergency manual raising/lowering, built-in load limits, slack tape sensor, and an over-speed governor.

The C-450 Manual Traverse Ceiling Lift requires a carry bar, sling, and overhead ceiling track (all are sold separately). Mesh slings are ideal for bathroom use and padded slings are great for everything else.
