The Independent Lifter for Handicare Medical Ceiling Lifts allows patients to take control over their own mobility without giving up the safety and support that comes with a patient lift. This attachment is designed to be used with the C-Series Handicare Medical Ceiling Lifts to provide patients with freedom of movement that is still comfortable and safe. This innovative design removes the need for slings and limits caregiver assistance for increased feelings of independence.

The Independent Lifter is perfect for both homecare and institutional care alike, and can be used in a variety of lift and transfer applications including swimming pools, toilets, and showers. The Independent Lifter is available in three sizes to provide the best possible fit and support. The leg straps are fully adjustable for improved comfort and positioning, while the three-position spring mechanism adjusts the grip strength to support a variety of body types. If you require more than one size or if your user or body size changes throughout your usage of this product, additional Leg Support Kits are available to switch out with the supports already in place. These kits include the supports and everything you need to safely and securely mount them on the lifter.

The Independent Lifter is designed for patients with moderate upper-body strength, good cognition, and moderate head, neck, and trunk control.
