K-0CS Alternating Pressure Chair Pad LAL System

K-0CS Alternating Pressure Chair Pad LAL System is to be used in a Geri Chair. Prior to use, make sure to remove all non-K-OCS chair systems from the chair. To use the overlay system, place it directly on the Geri Chair and fasten all three straps. The straps are at the top, middle, and foot. It normally takes between 16 - 60 minutes for the overlay to inflate, depending on the size.

The Chair Overlay System is designed between 35 - 450 lbs. The SOFT Key reduces the pressure and the FIRM Key increases the pressure to provide the patient with optimal comfort. The comfort pressure ranges from SOFT 8 - 5mmHg and FIRM 32 - 5mmHg.
Control unit is an innovative micro-controller with RTPM sensor capabilities. Programmed software enables the caregiver to change pressure, time, and function. The control panel on the unit is easy to use and features keys and 7-segment LED display. It displays current mode, A/P times, and comfort pressure level. LAL relief is continuous, unless turned off. Static or alternating pressure is provided along with continuous LAL relief. A lockout key locks the panel and power switch to prevent a patient from tampering with and adjusting the settings. There are audiovisual alarms, which will sound at a power outage, low pressure, and hose disconnect. In the case of a power outage, the internal memory will remember last-used settings.

There are two Chair Overlay sizes available. Make sure to choose the appropriate size for your patient.
