Itinerant Platform Swing
Designed to fit the Itinerant Support Frame, this lightweight swing weighs only 11 lbs. and includes its own carrying case. Removable spreader bars separate the ropes, providing more room on the swing. This feature is especially beneficial for larger clients. Clients can be positioned in a sitting, supine, or prone position for receiving vestibular input, as well as postural control and balance training on an unsteady surface.
Standard Dual Swing
The Standard Dual Swing provides orbital and rotational movements. It can be used in a prone or sitting position and it provides vestibular input while also working on extension, proprioceptive input, motor planning and core stability. Ideal for using with one or two clients in a seated position simultaneously, this swing adds variety to treatment programs. Designed with 4 soft nylon leg loops and 4 different ropes, the swing fastens at the top with two Safety Snaps, which stay closed even under a heavy load, for quick securement and easy hanging. The Standard Dual Swing includes (4) ropes, (4) leg loops and (2) Safety Snaps.
Child Trapeze Bar
This 30" width Trapeze Bar can be used to strengthen the upper extremities, which helps to develop fine motor skills. It also improves flexion posture and motor planning skills. Safety Snaps are included with the Trapeze Bar as well.
Sling Swing
This single-point suspension hammock is made with soft nylon fabric that works much better than a net sling would.The Sling Swing, which does not tangle, supports the client's weight evenly and does not bunch up. Each Sling Swing includes 1 Safety Snap for ceiling securement.
Rotational Device
To incorporate rotational movement into swing therapy, this rotational device can be clipped to a ceiling bolt using a Southpaw Safety Snap. Made of solid metal with smooth rollerbearings, the device provides free rotation.
Safety Snaps
To secure swing therapy equipment from the ceiling, Southpaw's Safety Snaps should be used for safety purposes. Designed with a self-closing gate, the snaps stay closed securely, even under heavy weight.
Height Adjuster
To adjust swing heights easily, Southpaw offers the Height Adjuster, which the equipment hangs from. To adjust the height using this piece of equipment, simply slide the swing up or down the rope. Safety locking pins ensure that the swing stays securely in place once adjusted.
Therapy Rope with Eye Splice
This rope can be used to hang therapy swings. An included Eye Splice creates a permanent loop on the end of the rope using a metal lined loop attached at one end. 10 ft. of rope are included with this kit.
