For occupational and physical therapists who travel from one location to the next, Southpaw's Itinerant Swing and Swing Frame provides a mobile solution for providing swing therapy to clients. The sensory integrating activity provides valuable vestibular input, while helping to develop postural control and balance. Used as a first line of defense, therapy swings are a powerful vestibular rehabilitation therapy (VRT) tool that can be used to treat vertigo, imbalance, and dizziness caused by vestibular disorders. These disorders include autism, Meniere's disease, acoustic neuroma, ototoxicity, cholesteatoma, and autoimmune inner ear disease.
