The Folding Cushioned Gym Mats are intended for general floor use for martial arts, tumbling, gymnastics, playtime games, fitness activities, and exercise routines.
The mat will have hook and loop attachments on either two or four sides that allow other mats to be securely connected together in one long line of mats for tumbling and gymnastic routines, or to be positioned in a large square pattern for use as a large, soft, and safe play area.
The 2"-thick mats have a closed-cell laminated polyethylene foam core that means the mat can help deter excess high-impact stress on the joints, muscles, and tendons of the users and the nylon-coated vinyl cover is very durable that will provide years of high-impact use.
The mats have been treated with UV-resistant and anti-mildew agents to enhance hygiene and can be easily wiped down and sanitized. The mats also meet FR specifications of NFPA-701, CSFM and ASTM E 84 as well as meeting the requirements for phthalates and lead as defined by the Consumer Product safety improvement act (H.R. 404).
The accordion-style folding (every two feet) mats may be ordered with two colors that alternate panels to match a school's colors or a fitness facility decor but all mats with the hook and loop attachments on two ends are quick shipped in Royal Blue. The mats are available in various sizes and color choices.
