AL100 Scooter Carrier
The AL100 Carriers have a unique hold-down foot that automatically secures any scooter (with a wheelbase of up to 42") without any modifications needed to the scooter. There is also a swing-away model available for purchase. Fully automatic, the scooter carrier made for car, suv, and mini van works with virtually any scooter/auto application. It operates nearly effortlessly and lifts up to 350 lbs. The carrier operates on an easy one-switch operation. Each Harmar 100 Series Outside Scooter Carrier includes a manual crank backup and license plate mount. A license plate light and courtesy light comes standard with the carrier.

Manual Override
If there is a power failure, such as if your car battery dies, the carrier can still be operated using the Manual Override System. Simply unplug the power to the carrier, remove the cap on top of the motor cover, insert a socket wrench into the actuator and rotate the Hex Shaft counter-clockwise to lower the scooter carrier platform or clockwise to raise the platform.

Operating the Carrier
Simply insert the key and switch the carrier to an 'On' position. Press 'Down' on the toggle switch. The platform will then unfold. Continue to lower until the platform reaches the ground and becomes level. Drive the scooter slowly, stopping when the drive wheels fall between the platform bars. The scooter can then be secured. Use the 'Up' toggle to raise the carrier, stopping when it reaches the top of travel and a clutch sound is heard. Twist the key to remove. To unload the scooter, insert the key and switch to 'On.' Press 'Down' to lower the carrier. Drive the scooter off the platform carefully. When the scooter is unloaded, press 'Up' and the platform will automatically fold.

AL105 Swing-Away
The Swing-Away allows you to easily swing the installed and unoccupied auto lift away from the back of the vehicle for convenient access to the trunk, tailgate or lift gate. To open the Swing-Away, simply remove the safety pin and pull the T-Handle. Close the Swing-Away just as you would a car door. Please verify vehicle compatibility before placing order. Choose from 350 lb or 400 lb (for heavy duty model) Swing-Away Options.

AL205 Battery Pack
This light and effective power source is compatible with the Harmar 100 Series Outside Scooter Carriers. The Battery Pack eliminates the need to hardwire your carrier to the car battery. It can also be used to augment or supplement use of the vehicle's battery. The scooter carrier accessory uses an intuitive design that is easy to read, has a clean look, and can charge in the vehicle's cigarette lighter. Battery charging lights make it easy to see the battery power levels available in the Battery Pack.
