The Exos Sheet Materials are .65" thick, with 18" W x 24" L, and come in black. An oven can be used to warm up the material to the required temperature, but do NOT use a microwave since the Exos Sheet does not contain moisture or other microwave sensitive materials, thus it will not be warmed.

HEATING AND APPLICATION
Cut Sheet Material to approximate shape and size.
The proper heating temperature is 200 degrees F (93 degrees C).
Below are approximate heating times for Exos Sheet Materials:
.040" (1.0 mm), Part # 800-40-1111 - 3 minutes
.050" (1.3 mm), Part # 800-50-1111 - 4 minutes
.065" (1.6 mm), Part # 800-65-1111 - 5 minutes
.075" (1.9 mm), Part # 800-75-1111 - 6 minutes

How do you heat this material for fabrication I wanted to make a hand-based thumb spica brace?
Answer: An oven can be used to warm up the material to the required temperature, but do NOT use a microwave since the Exos Sheet does not contain moisture or other microwave sensitive materials, it will not get warm.

Brace should be fabricated and fitted by a qualified healthcare professional.
Do not heat Sheet Material or custom brace on the body.
Check to make sure the custom brace is not too hot prior to the application.
Do not heat Exos Sheet Material or custom brace to greater than 212 degrees F (100 degrees C).
