Cover for Comfy Splints Spring Loaded Goniometer Elbow Orthoses

This is a replacement or substitute cover for the Comfy Splints Spring Goniometer Loaded Elbow Tothosis device that is guaranteed to provide the same benefits as serial casting while allowing for progressive elbow extension. When applied, this plush terry cloth cover will also provide the same comfortable, removable, and adjustable experience as the previous cover for SGE-101 and SGE-102 model splints.

Replacing the old cover with the new cover is simple. To apply the cover, locate and remove the hook, then use it to adhere the cover with the closing system. The lightweight cover comes with foam padding to help provide a smooth and soft surface for the arm to rest on. While it promotes a comfortable experience, it helps minimize skin friction against the orthosis device. The cover provides enough cover to completely cover the hinge to prevent the skin from peing pinched by the spring system.

As mentioned the cover is made of a durable terry cloth that helps provides both support and comfort with the splints. However, it has the ability to absorb moisture to keep the skin dry and cool to prevent skin maceration. The cover is also lined with soft foam that covers the whole frame of the splint so edges touching the patient are padded to prevent pressure points and minimize self injry.

Covers are identical in appearance for the splint models we offer. Please note that only these terry cloth covers are mashine washable, not the orthosis splint.
