The Central Alert Notification System SOS Transmitter is a part of the Central Alert Notification System. This device is designed to keep the user safe in the event of an emergency by calling for help. The front of the device has a large green "SOS" button that with a single push will send out an alert to the receiver in order to alert others in the user's home to their need for assistance.

The SOS Transmitter is compatible with receivers of the same brand and is easy to connect, requiring minimal setup from the user to prevent users who aren't as skilled with technology from being able to call for help.

This SOS Transmitter is usable in any home with a working receiver, as the receiver can pick up signals from the transmitter up to 200ft away with no trouble, this includes being able to send the signal through walls and floors.
