More Information

The Lifetone HLAC151 Bedside Clock and Vibrating Fire Alarm is the perfect solution to ensure the safety of users who are hard of hearing and have difficulty knowing when their smoke alarm is going off. Patented monitoring technology works in tandem with your existing T3 smoke detector, being notified when it goes off with a combination of ultra-amplified auditory alerts, vibrating physical alerts, and bright, flashing visual alerts. These various methods combine to provide users with a multi-pronged alert system that ensures better efficacy and improved safety.

Perfected over 10 years of development, the Lifetone HL uses patented monitoring technology to actively listen for the sound of your smoke alarm, and ignore all other sounds at the same frequency, about 3100 Hz. When it detects your smoke alarm, it immediately initiates three different signals to wake you up: 85 dB alarm sound, flashing backlit visual display of the word FIRE, and a strongly vibrating bed shaker to wake you up.

This system utilizes a unique low pitched, 520 Hz square-wave alarm sound that has been scientifically proven to be more effective at waking people in the event of an emergency. It is designed specifically to work with T3 smoke alarm systems, those that emit an alarm pattern of three beeps followed by a pause, and does not work with alarms that emit a continuous tone with no pauses.

What Customers Are Saying:

"It was very easy to set up and responded to the test of the fire alarms even with the bedroom door shut. She hasn't complained about the light the alarm produces at all as others have in these comments. I would buy again if I needed to."

"It is a very solid device, was easy to set up, and is able to "hear" the smoke alarm on the first level in the back by the kitchen. I've tried the test alarm, and I can hear the alarm clearly without my HA and the bed shaker is quite powerful. And it shouts and flashes when the fire alarm is triggered. You can also use this as an alarm clock and the tone and bed shaker should do well."
