The Advantage Line 2-in-1 Pony Bolster Swing and Trapeze Bar provides ample opportunities for clients to receive vestibular stimulation to the inner ear, which helps improve balance and spatial orientation. When using the Advantage Line 2-in-1 Pony Bolster Swing, clients have to hold on with their legs and engage the core. This helps improve trunk control. By shifting body weight, the client will learn that they can move forward and backward, which requires both sides of the body to be used at the same time in a bilaterally coordinated way. The therapist can stand to the side and have the client reach for brightly colored toys and other items. This activity requires timing and sequencing.

Installing the Advantage Line 2-in-1 Pony Bolster Swing and Trapeze Bar:
This therapy swing can be mounted without the bolster attached, allowing for use as a trapeze bar. An included Safety Snap allows the therapy swing to be hung from s single suspension point. Adding another Safety Snap, allows for 2 suspension points between 30 and 36" apart.
Space Needed:
The Advantage Line 2-in-1 Pony Bolster Swing and Trapeze Bar can be accommodated with 8 feet or higher ceilings. Walls and other obstacles should be at least 6 feet away from the swing.
Other Southpaw Product Recommendations:
For easy and convenient height adjustments, the Advantage Line 2-in-1 Pony Bolster Swing and Trapeze Bar can be used with a Southpaw Height Adjuster. A Southpaw Rotational Device can also be purchased that will allow the bolster and trapeze to move rotationally.
