Product Overview:

Houston Enzyme's Zyme Prime is a combination of plant-based enzymes that help break down carbohydrates, sugars, and starches found in fruits and vegetables. The powerful multi-enzyme combination also helps alleviate the subsequent gas and bloating associated with such foods. Another benefit when using Zyme Prime is that the gut's environment encourages good bacteria to grow while reducing the bad bacteria's population, which occurs when carbohydrates are broken down. Carbohydrates that don't break down can be a food source for yeast and bad bacteria and also help produce the gas and bloating that produce so much discomfort. By increasing the breakdown of the carbs and starches, the gut remains a clean place for good probiotic bacteria to flourish, while the uncomfortable social problems associated with such foods are reduced. Choose from Zyme Prime capsules or chewable tablets.

Difference Between AFP Peptizyde and Zyme Prime
Not as effective at protein breakdown as AFP Peptizyde, Zyme Prime excels at carbohydrate breakdown.

Zyme Prime Contraindications
Zyme Prime may not be appropriate for those with known Aspergillus enzyme protein allergies. However, non-specific mold allergies don't necessarily preclude the use of fungal enzymes. Consult your medical doctor for further advice, and err on the side of caution. Those who have had known anaphylactic allergic reactions to fungal proteins should not ingest fungal derived enzymes.

Zyme Prime Dosage
No upper limits have been established for oral enzyme supplementation. Animal studies indicate that extremely large doses of enzymes can be ingested without toxicity or ill effect. Dosing is based on the amount of food ingested during a meal, not by body weight or age. The dosage can be varied based on the content and size of the meal. Meals higher in carbohydrates and/or fats may call for a higher dose of Zyme Prime.

Zyme Prime Capsules
Most take 1 to 4 capsules with each meal. No more than 5 capsules should be taken at one time, and no more than 9 capsules should be taken in any 24-hour period.

Zyme Prime Chewables
Chew 1 to 2 tablets with meals or snacks. More chewables can be taken with larger meals. It takes 2 chewable tablets to equal the potency of 1 Zyme Prime capsule.

Zyme Prime Storage
Store Zyme Prime is a cool, dry place away from direct light and humid conditions. Do not refrigerate Zyme Prime, which should be stored in room temperature conditions. Cold does not harm the enzymes, but most refrigerators are high-humidity environments. Freezing is acceptable and encouraged for long-term storage.

FAQ For Zyme Prime Enzyme for Digestion of Carbohydrates, Starches and Fats - Case of 6

? Have a question about this product? Click here to ask us!
Will taking oral enzymes cause my pancreas to stop making enzymes?
Answer: No. Studies have shown little or no effect of oral enzymes on pancreatic enzyme production. The pancreas enzyme production is not regulated by a feedback system, and has no way of determining whether you are taking oral enzymes.
Which is best, Zyme Prime or ZyCarb?
Answer: If constipation is a problem, ZyCarb should be chosen over Zyme Prime. Other than that, there is no best product out of the two.
Can I take Zyme Prime with my medications?
Answer: Yes. Zyme Prime can be taken with other supplements and medications. Use caution with cellulase-containing products with sustained-release products. While no incidents have been reported, in theory, cellulase may affect a cellulose-regulated release mechanism.
